The Vispring Distinction Bedstead Mattress in a soft feel is designed for a deeply plush, cloud-like sleeping experience. It uses two layers of Vanadium steel pocket springs, each hand-nested in breathable calico cotton pockets and arranged in a honeycomb formation for responsive, independent movement.

This allows the mattress to gently contour to your body, offering adaptive pressure relief while maintaining a soft, cushioned feel. The softer tension is especially suited to side sleepers or those who prefer a pronounced “sink-in” sensation, and is typically recommended for sleepers up to 11 stone to prevent excessive sinking.

The borders are strengthened with coir (from coconut husks) and breathable wool, helping preserve shape while supporting the mattress’s plush comfort feel.

For slatted bases, a Vispring mattress pad is recommended to protect the mattress and is required to maintain the 30-year guarantee when used on such foundations.
